In a recent assembly session, Goa Town and Country Planning Minister Vishwajit Rane highlighted that minor landslides along state roads are often exaggerated to appear as catastrophic as the Wayanad disaster in Kerala.
Rane assured that adequate precautions are being taken to prevent such incidents. He addressed Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao's concerns by emphasizing the government's proactive approach. Additionally, Rane discussed the ongoing land conversion processes, stressing the importance of considering public sentiment while making changes.
The Minister also touched upon social media's rapid influence, stating that while it can tarnish a reputation quickly, it takes years to rebuild. Rane assured the assembly that all concerns raised would be addressed.
