Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has recommended the suspension of DANICS Officer Ramesh Chander Meena, following a hit-and-run incident involving an inebriated Meena, according to Raj Niwas officials.
Meena allegedly hit a bike and dragged it for two kilometers before both vehicles burst into flames. The bike's rider sustained minor injuries.
A case has been registered and medical reports confirmed Meena's alcohol consumption. The Directorate of Vigilance cited serious misconduct, prompting LG Saxena to recommend Meena's suspension to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
