Gruesome Murder Shocks Jalore District

A 43-year-old man named Vijayraj Dewasi was murdered at his home in Rajasthan’s Jalore district. Attackers barged into his house and killed him with sharp weapons. His family demands the immediate arrest of the culprits. Dewasi had previously contested the 2013 assembly elections.

A 43-year-old man, Vijayraj Dewasi, was murdered in his home in Rajasthan's Jalore district, police confirmed on Saturday.

On Friday night, around four attackers forcibly entered Dewasi's home in Bawatra village and assaulted him with sharp-edged weapons, according to Additional SP Rameshwar Lal. Dewasi succumbed to his injuries on the spot, authorities said.

Family members of the deceased refused to accept the body, demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrators. Dewasi had previously contested the 2013 assembly elections from the Siwana seat.
