Nikolai Patrushev, a presidential aide in Russia, revealed on Thursday that the United States plans to establish logistics hubs in Black Sea countries. The move is intended to speed up the supply of weapons to Ukraine and facilitate the deployment of modern long-range weapons.
Patrushev, who formerly chaired Russia's Security Council, added that Russia had successfully thwarted attempts by the U.S.-led NATO alliance to set up a naval base in the Sea of Azov. However, he did not specify the timeframe for these events.
