Hamas stated on Wednesday that remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about intensified efforts to release hostages from Gaza are 'pure lies' aimed at misleading the Israeli, U.S., and global public.

Netanyahu informed U.S. lawmakers on Wednesday that his administration is actively working to secure the release of the remaining hostages in Gaza.

Hamas argues that Netanyahu has hindered all efforts to conclude the conflict and finalize a deal to free the hostages, despite ongoing mediation by Egypt and Qatar.
