Locals Discover Ammunition Cache in Jammu and Kashmir Well

In Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, 49 live rounds of ammunition were found in a well by locals. Authorities were alerted, and the police, along with the BSF, have commenced an investigation into the origins of the cache.

A cache of 49 rounds of live ammunition was recovered from a well in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district on Tuesday evening, according to officials.

Locals made the discovery while cleaning a well in the Bain Galad border village. They immediately informed the police and the Border Security Force (BSF).

Authorities have since taken custody of the ammunition and initiated an investigation to determine its origins and how it ended up in the well.
