Army Chief Reviews Security Amid Escalating Terror Activities in Jammu Region
Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi revisited Jammu to review the security situation amid rising terror activities. This was his second visit in three weeks. Nine Army personnel were killed recently in separate terror attacks. Dwivedi will chair a high-level meeting with top security officials to enhance coordinated anti-terror operations.

Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi arrived in Jammu on Saturday to assess the security situation amidst increasing terror activities in the otherwise peaceful region.
This marks his second visit to Jammu within three weeks, following his appointment as the 30th chief of the Indian Army on June 30. He is set to chair a high-level security review meeting at the police headquarters, which will include top officials from the police, army, paramilitary forces, and intelligence agencies.
Recently, nine army personnel, including a captain, were killed in separate terror attacks in Kathua and Doda. The army has expressed its dedication to eradicating terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir through joint operations with J-K Police aimed at tackling infiltrating foreign terrorists.
