Tragic Accident in Solan: One Dead, Two Injured in Truck Plunge

In a tragic incident in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district, a fatal accident led to the death of one individual and injuries to two others. According to the police, the mishap occurred when a pick-up truck veered off the Wakhnaghat-Mamligh link road and plunged into Gambhar Khad.

The accident transpired near Ghambreshwar Mahadev Temple after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The deceased, identified as Suresh, and the injured, Naresh Kumar and Sadiq Muhammad, are all residents of Solan's Arki Tehsil. They were en route to Arki when the incident unfolded.

Prompted by local informants, a police team arrived at the scene to rescue the injured and retrieve the body of the deceased. The injured were rushed to Indira Gandhi Medical College for medical treatment, while the body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem examination. Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Dhaulta stated that further investigations are currently underway.
