The Madhya Pradesh High Court has granted the MP Nurses Registration Council (MPNRC) the go-ahead to conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions to nursing colleges for the 2024-25 academic year.
The High Court has also instructed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to expedite the reinspection process of 169 nursing colleges and submit its findings promptly, in order to avoid delays in the upcoming sessions.
This decision follows MPNRC's application seeking permissions to hold the CET, with Advocate General Prashant Singh emphasizing the need for a transparent and clean admission process. The court's directive includes ensuring that colleges with previously identified deficiencies rectify them and meet the suitability criteria before granting admissions.
