West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has moved the Calcutta High Court's division bench, challenging a single bench's order that restrains her and three others from making defamatory statements about Governor CV Ananda Bose.

This development follows an interim order issued on Tuesday after Bose filed a defamation suit against Banerjee.

The single bench's order, valid until August 14, also restricts newly elected MLAs Sayantika Banerjee and Reyat Hossain Sarkar, as well as TMC leader Kunal Ghosh. The division bench will now hear the matter on a future date.
