The Arunachal Pradesh assembly commenced its budget session on Friday with the introduction of three crucial bills aimed at addressing various issues, including recruitment examination irregularities.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu tabled the Arunachal Pradesh Public Examination (Measures to Prevent Unfair Means in Recruitment) Bill, which seeks to curb offences such as question paper leaks. Severe penalties, including imprisonment and hefty fines, are proposed to deter such practices.
Additional bills were presented by other state ministers, targeting updates to legal terminologies and land compensation procedures.
