Puja Khedkar, a probationary IAS officer, has lodged a harassment complaint against Pune district collector Suhas Diwase with the Washim police, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday.

Khedkar has come under scrutiny for her claims involving her disability and OBC certificates that were used to clear the IAS exam, as well as for her conduct while serving in the Pune collector's office.

'Women police personnel visited Khedkar at her Washim residence on Monday when she lodged a harassment complaint against Pune district collector Suhas Diwase,' added the official.

Earlier in the day, Khedkar declined to elaborate on the police's visit when speaking to TV news channels, merely stating, 'I had called female police personnel because I had some work.'

Amidst the controversy, the government on Tuesday halted Khedkar's district training program, summoning her back to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration for 'necessary action.'
