Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda instructed officials to extend the 'Anywhere Registration' system, currently limited to Bengaluru, to all districts starting August.
The initiative allows individuals to register property documents at any less-crowded sub-registrar office within their district, thereby reducing wait times and streamlining the process.
Initially piloted in Belagavi and Tumakuru on March 14, the system aims to address delays in document registration, relieve crowds, and improve office efficiency. The plan is to introduce the system incrementally through August and September, with full statewide implementation by year-end.
