Special Operations Group to Investigate Rambagh Golf Club Irregularities
The Rajasthan government has announced that the Special Operations Group will investigate alleged irregularities and financial mismanagement at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur. The Rajasthan government on Monday announced in the House that alleged irregularities at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur will be investigated by the Special Operations Group.
Urban Development Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra made this announcement in the Rajasthan Assembly, asserting that financial mismanagement by the club's executive and management committees would be thoroughly investigated.
Kharra emphasized, 'If the SOG investigates, all the names will come out and we will take effective legal action against whoever has done the wrong.' He also mentioned the state's plans to model the golf club operations after Delhi Golf Club and assured resolution of a pending Supreme Court writ petition raised by BJP MLA Kalicharan Saraf regarding the club's corruption issues.
