In a bold move to curb escalating lawlessness, Hisar's traders unified on Tuesday, urging immediate arrest of culprits behind a recent car dealership firing. Under the aegis of Haryana Pradesh Beopar Mandal's president Bajrang Garg, a crucial meeting ensued in the auto market.
A trader confirmed plans to shut down the market's three phases on June 28 as a mark of protest against the terrifying Monday incident. Hisar City Police Station in-charge Risal Singh revealed that an FIR has been lodged under IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder), 506 (criminal intimidation), 387 (extortion), and the Arms Act.
Garg voiced concerns over deteriorating law and order, stating that Monday's horrifying shooting, involving three unidentified men demanding Rs 5 crore, has instilled widespread fear among businessmen and civilians.
A circulating video shows the masked perpetrators fleeing the scene. The police disclosed that the trio arrived on a motorcycle, left a ransom note after barging into the dealership, and fired shots before escaping.
