Police investigating the Renukaswamy murder case revealed that actress Pavithra Gowda reportedly beat the victim with her slippers, as per a recent remand note presented in court.

Officials have confiscated a slipper, clothing, materials, and documents linked to actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, also implicated in the murder, from Gowda's residence.

Pavithra has been identified as the primary instigator, with Darshan tagged as the second accused, allegedly executing the crime.

Additionally, Darshan's associate Dhanaraj, alias Raja, accused number nine, supposedly administered electric shocks to Renukaswamy. An 'Electric Shock Torch' was seized from his home.

Authorities have detained Darshan, Gowda, and 15 others related to the case.

Renukaswamy, a fan of Darshan, was kidnapped from Chitradurga on June 8 and subsequently tortured to death, allegedly by the actor and his accomplices.

Police sources indicate they may approach Meta to recover deleted Instagram messages linked to Renukaswamy as part of the ongoing inquiry.
