Global Education Bridge: UAE-Russia Inaugurate Sheikha Fatima Centre

Presidents Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vladimir Putin inaugurated the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Education Centre in Moscow. The centre, part of an official visit, emphasizes educational cooperation between the nations, with a focus on Arabic language, culture, and science, highlighting the robust UAE-Russia partnership.

In a ceremonial display of international collaboration, President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE and Russian President Vladimir Putin inaugurated the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Education Centre at Primakov School in Moscow. The launch took place during Al Nahyan's official visit to Russia.

The presentation highlighted the centre's curriculum and emphasized its role in promoting collaboration in education, notably in Arabic language, history, culture, and science and technology. Primakov School is devoted to enhancing students' intellectual and creative talents and offers scholarships to gifted students across approximately 50 Russian regions.

UAE Ambassador Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber underscored the strategic educational collaboration between the nations. Naming the centre after Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak acknowledges her global educational efforts and the UAE's commitment to knowledge-sharing. The leaders toured the centre, expressing appreciation for the initiative and the ties it strengthens.

In classroom discussions, students spoke in Arabic, underscoring the centre's educational impact, aligned with global standards. Plaques at the school feature inspirational quotes from late UAE leader Sheikh Zayed and President Putin, reinforcing a shared vision for fostering future talent. The Russian School in Abu Dhabi, linked with Primakov, was inaugurated in 2022.
