Three prominent think tanks—the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), India's Observer Research Foundation (ORF), and Morocco's Policy Center for the New South (PCNS)—have announced the expansion of their collaborative effort, 'The Initiative'. Launched in 2023, this project is focused on addressing pressing global challenges through strategic dialogue, joint research, and public engagement, backed by the expertise of over 400 professionals from three continents.

According to a press release, 'The Initiative' has entered a new phase, building on its initial successes. The upcoming 2024 Annual Trends Report will offer comprehensive policy recommendations on global governance, economic stability, and human security. This report will be presented at the Atlantic Dialogues conference in December 2024. Additionally, a special issue of the Global Policy Journal, co-edited by leaders from the participating think tanks, will debut at the Raisina Dialogue in 2025, featuring insights from leading global thinkers.

Key events such as Rome-MED, Atlantic Dialogues, and Raisina Dialogue will continue to serve as platforms to showcase findings and proposals from 'The Initiative', fostering important global discussions. A public session on 'Asia-Africa-Europe interconnectedness' is scheduled for November 25 at Rome-MED, involving senior researchers and key stakeholders. The Global Emerging Leaders Exchange will also be renewed, aiming to develop future leaders by leveraging each institute's networks and expertise. The partnership is dedicated to creating strategic responses to global challenges.
