US Higher Education Fairs to Span Eight Indian Cities

The US higher education sector is hosting a series of education fairs in India from August 16 to August 25. These fairs, organized by EducationUSA, will connect students with representatives from over 80 accredited US universities and colleges, offering insights on admissions, scholarships, and campus life.

The US higher education sector is set to host a series of education fairs across India, beginning in Hyderabad and wrapping up in New Delhi, as per an official statement from the US Embassy in India. The EducationUSA Fairs will kick off on Friday, August 16, in Hyderabad, and conclude on Sunday, August 25, in New Delhi, covering eight Indian cities in a span of 10 days.

These fairs aim to provide a valuable platform for students aspiring to join undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the United States. Representatives from over 80 accredited US universities and colleges will be available to meet with students. The events are free, but students must register to attend.

US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti highlighted the significance of these fairs, stating, "The EducationUSA fairs are an excellent opportunity to explore the incredible educational prospects that the United States offers. From science and technology to arts and business, there's a program for everyone." He also mentioned that students will have the chance to get firsthand information on admissions, scholarships, campus life, and other essential details.

The EducationUSA Fairs will be held in Hyderabad on August 16, Chennai on August 17, Bangalore on August 18, Kolkata on August 19, Ahmedabad on August 21, Pune on August 22, Mumbai on August 24, and will conclude in New Delhi on August 25. Venues are designated hotels in each city. EducationUSA operates over 430 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries, including six centers across five Indian cities.
