Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Issues New Decree for Dubai Sports Council

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, has issued Decree No. 43 of 2024 appointing a new Board of Directors for the Dubai Sports Council. Chaired by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the decree annuls previous decrees from 2022.

In a significant reshuffle, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and UAE's Vice President and Prime Minister, has issued Decree No. 43 of 2024, announcing a new Board of Directors for the Dubai Sports Council.

The new board is chaired by H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and features Khalfan Belhoul as Vice Chairman. Other prominent members include Ali Mohamed Al Mutawa, Ahmed Zainal Al Khaja, Sayed Ismail Sayed Al Hashemi, Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Al Karam, Safia Mukhtar Al Sayegh, Majid Abdullah Al Osaimi, along with the Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council.

This latest decree effectively nullifies Decree No. 13 and Decree No. 31, both issued in 2022, underscoring the administration's commitment to bolstering the council's leadership. Decree No. 43 of 2024 will be enforced from its issuance date and is set to be published in the Official Gazette.
