The 'Sebaashray' initiative, spearheaded by TMC leader and Diamond Harbour MP Abhishek Banerjee, has already provided vital healthcare services to more than 750,000 individuals in just 50 days, according to a statement.
Launched on January 2 by the TMC national general secretary, the initiative has established health camps offering medical check-ups, critical care, and life-saving treatments without charge to the residents of Diamond Harbour.
The initiative's reach goes beyond Diamond Harbour, also aiding families in other West Bengal districts like Hooghly and Jalpaiguri, reflecting its significant impact. The 'Sebaashray' mission aims to serve over 2.3 million people in the Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha constituency over 75 days with comprehensive coverage through camps set up in all 71 gram panchayats and 93 wards in the area.
