Bangalore, India: Pharmed Limited has unveiled the India Bone Health Initiative (IBHI) on World Osteoporosis Day, a step poised to transform public health dialogue on bone health across India. With osteoporosis becoming a growing concern, the effort strategically aims to enhance awareness and preventive care.

The IBHI program focuses on raising osteoporosis awareness, offering patient education on bone health, implementing accessible Bone Mineral Density testing at annual camps, and fostering early detection strategies. By collaborating with healthcare experts, the initiative aims to strengthen knowledge and treatment capabilities in the country.

Spearheading the initiative, Suneet Aurora, Chairman & Managing Director, confirmed Pharmed's vision to foster a comprehensive ecosystem for bone health, blending awareness, education, and diagnostic services to empower citizens. Such interventions are essential in tackling osteoporosis rates, particularly with today's sedentary, unhealthy lifestyles.
