Junior doctors in West Bengal have accused the state administration of thwarting attempts to resolve the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital stalemate by refusing to allow live streaming of their meeting with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Describing the chief minister's remarks blaming them for the impasse as 'unfortunate,' the doctors asserted their protest and work cessation would persist until their demands for transparency and justice are met.
The doctors insist live streaming is essential for transparency and ensuring their demands are fairly addressed. Talks to resolve the issue were scheduled but canceled due to the administration's refusal to meet this stipulation, leaving the junior doctors discontented but still hopeful for further negotiations.
