A team from Rajasthan's food safety department seized 20,000 kg of sweets on Tuesday during an inspection at a sweet manufacturing company, officials confirmed.

Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha stated that Vinayak Milk Food Products in Jalasu village was producing rasgullas in unsanitary conditions, with bees and insects present in the milk and syrup.

The contaminated sweets, including kesar bati, rajbhog, and rasgullas, were being packed in paper and cooled in dirty water. Approximately 20,000 kg of these sweets were confiscated by the department.
