Rajasthan Food Safety Department Seizes 20,000 kg of Sweets

A Rajasthan food safety team seized 20,000 kg of sweets from Vinayak Milk Food Products in Jalasu village for unsanitary conditions. The sweets, including rasgullas and rajbhog, were found in unhygienic conditions and packed under various brands.

A team from Rajasthan's food safety department seized 20,000 kg of sweets on Tuesday during an inspection at a sweet manufacturing company, officials confirmed.

Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha stated that Vinayak Milk Food Products in Jalasu village was producing rasgullas in unsanitary conditions, with bees and insects present in the milk and syrup.

The contaminated sweets, including kesar bati, rajbhog, and rasgullas, were being packed in paper and cooled in dirty water. Approximately 20,000 kg of these sweets were confiscated by the department.
