NTPC and ACCF Unite for Comprehensive Cancer Care in Assam

NTPC has partnered with the Assam Cancer Care Foundation to initiate a comprehensive cancer care project in Kokrajhar district. Funded as part of the company's CSR activities, the project aims to provide preventive and diagnostic care to around 42,000 people across various villages.

In a significant move, power major NTPC has collaborated with the Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) to launch an extensive cancer care project in Assam's Kokrajhar district, the company announced Monday.

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, NTPC's Bongaigaon unit signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with ACCF to execute the Rs 32.7 lakh project.

The first collaboration of its kind between the organizations will offer preventive and diagnostic care to approximately 42,000 villagers, encompassing four block primary health centres and about 80 health and wellness centres in the Kokrajhar district, NTPC stated.
