India's pet health market is valued at around €115 million. According to Boehringer Ingelheim India's internal estimates, metro and Tier 1 cities contribute approximately 60% of overall revenues, with Tier 2 and smaller cities accounting for the rest. This partnership with Vvaan Lifesciences, a company known for its extensive experience in the animal health industry, seeks to extend the reach of Boehringer Ingelheim India's pet portfolio in Tier 2 cities and meet growing demand in mini metros.

Dr. Vinod Gopal, Country Head-Animal Health at Boehringer Ingelheim India, emphasized the company's commitment to making high-quality medications accessible to all, regardless of location. The partnership aims to bridge the gap in accessing quality healthcare for pets in non-metro and rural areas. Dr. Maneesh Jain, Director & CEO of Vvaan Lifesciences, also highlighted the benefits of the partnership, noting that it would significantly improve the availability and quality of pet healthcare across India.
