MoSPI Expands Survey Reach: RFP for Private Partnerships

The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has launched a Request for Proposal to engage private survey institutions to conduct nationwide socioeconomic surveys. This initiative intends to expand survey outreach and improve decision-making through diverse data collection.

The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) announced the initiation of processes to enlist private survey institutions aimed at enhancing the scope of socioeconomic surveys. This step promises to diversify and enrich the data collected nationwide.

As per a statement, the National Statistics Office (NSO) will leverage these partnerships to conduct vast surveys across varied fields in India. On December 12, 2024, an RFP was released inviting institutions to contribute expertise and resources by January 06, 2025.

This collaboration is expected to elevate NSO's survey execution capabilities, ensuring informed decision-making and policy formulation, MoSPI added.
