Alkem Laboratories and Exactech Ink Deal for Joint Implants in India
Alkem Laboratories has entered into a partnership with Exactech Inc to produce and market large joint implants in India. This collaboration grants Alkem MedTech the marketing rights of Exactech’s well-known brands. Senior executives from both companies highlighted this step as a significant milestone in India's medical device manufacturing sector.

Alkem Laboratories' subsidiary has announced a collaboration with US-based Exactech Inc to manufacture and market large joint implants in India.
As part of the deal, Alkem MedTech will gain marketing rights for an array of Exactech's established brands including Truliant, Optetrak, Logic Fit, Alteon, AcuMatch, Novation, and Novation CFS within India.
Kaustav Banerjee, CEO of Alkem MedTech, noted that the agreement marks a significant advancement in Indian medical device manufacturing. Exactech's Chief Marketing Officer and Senior VP, Adam Hayden, added that the partnership offers an exciting opportunity to deliver their advanced hip and knee implants to Indian patients.
