Star Health and Allied Insurance, the largest retail health insurance provider in India, has contributed Rs. 50 lakhs to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund. This donation is aimed at supporting those affected by the recent landslide in Wayanad.
Presenting the donation, Mr. Anand Roy, Managing Director and CEO of Star Health Insurance, emphasized the company's commitment to assist the people of Kerala beyond insurance coverage. He stated that the firm's goal is to offer financial aid and a comprehensive support system to those impacted by the natural disaster.
To expedite aid, Star Health Insurance has implemented key initiatives, including 24/7 helplines, special claim desks, electronic claims processing, and pre-authorization for claims within one hour. Additional measures, such as cashless treatments and specialist guidance, have also been introduced to ensure effective assistance to the affected families.
