A 56-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting doctors and misbehaving with nursing staff at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital in Northeast Delhi, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
Israr, a spare parts shop owner, brought his wife for treatment on Wednesday night and allegedly became violent when his suggestions for her treatment were ignored, according to the police.
Witnesses recorded the incident on their mobile phones as Israr threatened and abused the medical staff. The FIR reports that he disrupted hospital operations, destroyed property, and incited others to attack the medics. Further investigations are ongoing.
