Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday introduced the 'Upasthiti (attendance) Portal' aimed at ensuring the daily attendance of doctors, para-medical staff, and other health department employees.
Soren emphasized the state government's commitment to enhancing healthcare services and making them accessible to all residents.
An official detailed that the portal will enable cross-verification of biometric attendance data by health department personnel. Soren also directed officials to make district hospitals operational around the clock and ensure that specialist doctors are available for all types of surgeries, reducing the need for patient referrals to other hospitals.
