Tragic Incident: Woman Regrettably Ends Her Life at Uttam Nagar Metro Station
A 45-year-old woman named Anita tragically ended her life by jumping off an elevated metro station in west Delhi. She had been battling depression, according to her husband. CCTV footage showed her actions prior to the incident. Anita is survived by her husband and two children. Police are investigating further.

A 45-year-old woman tragically ended her life by jumping off an elevated metro station in West Delhi on Thursday afternoon, authorities reported.
The woman, identified as Anita, had been suffering from depression, according to her husband. Police retrieved CCTV footage showing Anita entering the Uttam Nagar West Metro Station, proceeding upstairs, and then finding an isolated spot. She left her phone aside before climbing the railing and jumping.
Anita was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. She is survived by her husband, Satish, and their two children, a 12-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son. Further investigations are currently underway.
