His comments came during the 'Bharati Naari to Narayani' convention organized by the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, emphasizing the need for historical and cultural awareness in empowering women.
Minister Pradhan highlighted the 'Nari tu Narayani' concept as central to understanding the societal role of women, echoing themes from Prime Minister Modi’s recent remarks on historical and cultural identity. Pradhan noted that colonial mentalities have adversely impacted women's status and potential in society.
Pradhan advocated for a shift from outdated perspectives on gender roles, aligning with national calls to liberate minds from colonial-era influences by 2035. He stressed that holistic strategies are vital for genuine progress in women's empowerment and societal development.
