In conversation with ANI, Gupta remarked on the significant turnout at the Maha Kumbh Mela. After a 144-year hiatus, the event attracted an unprecedented 65 crore devotees who gathered for ritualistic dips, marking a historic religious moment.
Gupta conveyed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the meticulous arrangements at the Maha Kumbh. Meanwhile, massive crowds continued to flock to Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, underscoring the grand conclusion of the world's largest religious congregation on Maha Shivratri.
More than 65 crore pilgrims have bathed in the sacred confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Celebrated as the 'great night of Shiva,' Maha Shivratri is an emblem of spiritual triumph over darkness, commemorating Lord Shiva's marriage to Goddess Parvati, symbolizing love and unity.
