The anticipation for Mahakumbh Mela 2025 is building as Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath makes his fifth December visit to Prayagraj, closely inspecting preparation efforts for the significant event. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister inaugurated a pivotal Bio-CNG plant located in the Naini area, furthering sustainable initiatives.
CM Yogi meticulously inspected key sites including the Sangam Erawat Ghat, Sangam Noj Ghat, and a newly constructed parallel steel bridge to the Ganga Setu. His agenda also included a comprehensive review meeting at the Integrated Command and Control Centre Auditorium within the Prayagraj Mela Authority, cementing strategic measures ahead of the event.
In a display of proactive diplomacy, CM Yogi has extended invitations to President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and other notable figures to partake in the Mahakumbh, scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2025, renowned for its sacred 'Shahi Snan' bathing rituals.
Security protocols are robust, with Uttar Pradesh Police set to deploy underwater drones. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department is finalizing plans for a cultural feast, spanning from January 10 to February 24, showcased over 20 stages. Visitors will witness the vibrant tapestry of India's folk arts, reflecting the nation's rich cultural diversity throughout the 45-day celebration.
