Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) has announced its largest order to date, securing a 2 GW solar project from Sunbreeze Renewables Nine Pvt Ltd, a Special Purpose Vehicle of Jindal Renewables. This ambitious project will be located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, focusing on enhanced energy efficiency through advanced technologies, according to the company's statement.

Bharat Saxena, President of Jindal Renewables, emphasized the strategic partnership with Waaree, noting it as a significant step toward lower emission steel production and part of a broader initiative in renewable energy adoption. Viren C Doshi, Director of WRTL, also expressed enthusiasm about collaborating on the landmark project.

Jindal Renewables is aiming to lead in India's renewable energy sector, with plans for approximately 12 GW of assets by 2030, and steps toward comprehensive de-carbonization solutions.
