In a scathing critique of the AAP-led Delhi government, BJP General Secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia voiced concerns over the treatment of guest teachers, alleging they are being treated akin to daily wagers, with their salaries stagnant for seven years. Chandolia met with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena alongside two delegations of guest and contract teachers to submit a memorandum concerning their long-standing demands, including regular salaries and permanent employment.

Chandolia, who stood with guest teachers during a protest at Chandgi Ram Akhada, emphasized his commitment to raising their issues with the Lieutenant Governor, accusing the government of engaging in deceitful propaganda and failing the 23,000 guest teachers of Delhi. He criticized the government for offering no salary increments in seven years, failing to adhere to the "equal pay for equal work" principle, and denying salaries during the summer break.

Chandolia also highlighted the administration's failure to conduct the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) exams promptly, pointing out that, the application forms were collected for the Special Educator Teachers' exams for 2022-2023, but the exams remain unscheduled. He described this as a betrayal and a scheme to render candidates overaged, urging the Governor to ensure timely examinations.
