Green Frontier Capital, a climate-tech venture capital firm, announced on Wednesday the launch of its India Climate Opportunities Fund, aiming for a Rs 1,500 crore corpus.

This Sebi-approved Category 2 Alternative Investment Fund will target innovative Indian startups in their early stages, particularly those working on decarbonisation, digitisation, and disruptive technologies. The initiative reflects the firm's commitment to supporting businesses that can become leaders while fostering sustainable growth, as emphasized by founder Sandiip Bhammer.

The fund expects its first close by the first quarter of 2025, investing in approximately 15 startups with investments ranging from Rs 8-85 crore.
