Insecticides (India) Ltd., a key player in the agrochemical industry, reported a 15.69% increase in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal, a significant financial achievement against the backdrop of reduced expenses.
The company's comparative profits rose to Rs 61.49 crore from Rs 53.15 crore last year, despite a drop in total consolidated income to Rs 628.61 crore from Rs 695.81 crore. Cost-cutting strategies saw expenses fall to Rs 546.46 crore, a decrease from Rs 624.26 crore in the previous period.
