Ukraine's human rights commissioner, Dmytro Lubinets, urged Russia to disclose a list of Ukrainian POWs available for exchange, following accusations from Moscow that Kyiv was obstructing the exchange process. Lubinets emphasized Ukraine's readiness to proceed with exchanges and called for urgent cooperation from Russia.
In a mounting diplomatic tension over prisoners of war, Ukraine's Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, has called on Moscow to provide a list of Ukrainian captives available for exchange. The request comes after Russia accused Ukraine of obstructing the exchange process.
Lubinets expressed Ukraine's willingness to proceed with the POW exchange, insisting on transparency and cooperation from the Russian side. "We are always ready to exchange prisoners of war," Lubinets declared, highlighting Kyiv's readiness for an immediate swap.
The commissioner made his demand public on his Telegram channel, urging the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights to act swiftly. This appeal adds another layer of complexity to the continuing human rights and diplomatic tensions between the two nations.
