Security Lapses in Delhi: Minister Blames Central Government for Farsh Bazar Tragedy

Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj convened a press conference on Friday to address the recent firing incident in Farsh Bazar, Delhi, which resulted in two fatalities, including a minor. Bharadwaj criticized the BJP-led central government, attributing the incident to deteriorating law and order in the capital.
The shooting incident occurred in Shahdara, a locality rocked by violence due to a reported personal enmity between the deceased and the assailant. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shahdara, Prashant Gautam, revealed that the main orchestrator behind the attack is a juvenile, motivated by a dispute over Rs 70,000 with one of the deceased, Akash.
The police, relying on CCTV footage from the crime scene, have detained a minor in connection with the shooting. The victims have been identified as Akash (40), his nephew Rishab (16), and his son Krish (10), who sustained injuries. The DCP confirmed that five rounds were fired during the attack.
