Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined in the condolences, highlighting Rana's contributions to Jammu and Kashmir's progress. 'Shri Devender Singh Rana Ji's untimely demise is shocking,' posted the PM, who noted Rana's pivotal role in BJP's recent successes in the region.
