President Droupadi Murmu extended her Diwali greetings to the nation, acknowledging the festival's symbolism of knowledge triumphing over ignorance and good conquering evil. Through a post on X, she encouraged Indians globally to adopt love and compassion while fostering social harmony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi echoed similar sentiments, wishing the citizens a joyous and prosperous Deepawali. He emphasized the divine significance of lights, hoping for prosperity under the blessings of Maa Lakshmi and Lord Shri Ganesha.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also conveyed his heartfelt wishes for Deepawali, celebrating it as a timeless triumph of hope and wisdom. Rituals, such as the Aarti in Ujjain's Mahakal Temple, underscore the nationwide Diwali revelry.
