Trom Industries Secures Solar Projects Worth Rs 33 Crore

Trom Industries Ltd has secured solar power projects totaling Rs 33 crore from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation and Corona Remedies. The projects include rooftop solar installations for Ahmedabad Metro Rail and a ground-mounted solar PV plant for Corona Remedies, with supply starting this year.

Trom Industries Ltd has announced the acquisition of solar projects valued at Rs 33 crore from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation and Corona Remedies. The company disclosed this in an exchange filing, highlighting a significant boost to its solar portfolio.

A work order of Rs 20.70 crore has been secured from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited. This project involves the installation and maintenance of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects, totaling 5MW, across 15 stations of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail project. The implementation will commence this year and will progress in phases.

In addition to the GMRC project, Trom Industries has obtained a Rs 12.40 crore purchase order from Corona Remedies to commission a grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV plant. Completion is expected within this financial year, also in phased stages.
