Rozgar Mela: Empowering India's Youth with Government Opportunities

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal joined virtually with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the 'Rozgar Mela' event from Guwahati. At the event, 144 successful candidates were ceremoniously handed their appointment letters in Guwahati, securing jobs in various government departments such as India Post, CRPF, and NIT Manipur.
The candidates are set to join prominent government institutions, including NIT Manipur, CRPF, Oil India Limited, and the Department of Post, among others. This nationwide Rozgar Mela was held in 40 locations, inducting new recruits into the central government across ministries like the Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
During his speech in Guwahati, Union Minister Sonowal remarked, 'Yuva Shakti is the driving force behind India's growth story.' He praised PM Modi's vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat and encouraged the youth to embark on the path to becoming 'Karmayogis' for the noble cause of nation-building. Sonowal emphasized that under PM Modi's leadership, India has achieved a pivotal role in global youth-led development. Highlighting India's trajectory towards becoming the world's third-largest economy, Sonowal urged dedication from all to build a powerful and resilient nation.
