Uttarakhand Appoints 108 New Professors, Boosts Educational Initiatives

In a significant boost to Uttarakhand's educational framework, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, alongside Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, distributed appointment letters to 108 newly selected Assistant Professors across five disciplines, namely Hindi, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology, and Political Science. The ceremony took place at Mukhya Sevak Sadan, located at the Chief Minister's residence.
Emphasizing the importance of higher education, CM Dhami congratulated the appointees on their success, attributing it to their hard work and dedication. He highlighted the critical role of educators in shaping human resources by providing the right direction to youth. Over the past three years, state initiatives have secured government jobs for approximately 18,500 young people, with ongoing recruitment efforts.
CM Dhami elaborated on the state's continuous efforts to enhance education infrastructure, including the development of 20 model colleges and the provision of scholarships and research grants. Additionally, partnerships have been established for international scholarships and modern educational courses, underscoring Uttarakhand's commitment to becoming a leading educational hub in the country.
