The Indian Army has taken a significant step in nurturing young minds at Saraswati Bal Vidyalaya in Andro, Imphal East district, by providing musical instruments under the framework of Operation Sadbhavna. This initiative, aimed at spreading the joy of music among students, includes the provision of guitars, keyboards, drum sets, and speakers.

Alongside the distribution of instruments, the Indian Army has ensured the training of instructors to integrate music into the students' extracurricular activities, nurturing their passion for the art. In another related venture, the army supported the launch of a tent-based homestay in the scenic Kalapani, Uttarakhand, under the central government's Vibrant Village program.

Inaugurated by Brigadier SPS Chouhan, this community-driven project seeks to offer tourists an authentic taste of local culture while promoting sustainable tourism. It not only enhances the traveler's experience but also supports rural development and encourages stronger bonds between visitors and villagers, aligning with national initiatives to boost rural economies.
