The Prime Minister participated in the celebrations held at the residence of Garhwal Lok Sabha MP and BJP chief spokesperson Anil Baluni in Delhi, where notable figures like Yoga guru Ramdev and head priest Dhirendra Shastri also marked their presence.
The festival of Igas, also referred to as Budhi Diwali, is observed in Uttarakhand 11 days after Diwali. Known for its festive bonfires, dances, and decorative diyas, the celebration aims to bring happiness and well-being into the lives of its participants.
