In a significant political move, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has been fielded as the alliance candidate for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. Following her nomination, Shaina offered prayers at Mumbai's revered Mumba Devi Temple on Tuesday, expressing hopes that Mumbaikars will continue to support the Mahayuti government.
Shaina NC, displaying confidence in her candidacy, cited the success of the Ladki Bahini Yojana in every household as a strong support factor from women voters. Addressing ANI, she highlighted her commitment to serving the residents of Mumbai, further stating her gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Mahayuti partnership for their trust in her leadership capabilities.
