Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the populace on the auspicious occasions of Dhanteras, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhaiya Dooj, expressing wishes for the collective happiness and well-being of the state. An official communication from the Chief Minister's Office underscored these sentiments.

CM Dhami elaborated that Dhanteras celebrates the worship of Lord Dhanvantari, the deity of health, and he expressed hopes for the divine blessing to ensure well-being for all. On Diwali, he articulated a vision of the festival as a catalyst for happiness and prosperity, banking on the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh.

On this festive occasion, he advocated for the 'Vocal for Local' initiative, urging citizens to bolster local economies by supporting regional products as a step towards a self-reliant India.
